Karrieresenter Østfold provide vocational and educational guidance for everyone over 19 years of age resident in Østfold county. We have long experience with career guidance and good knowledge of the Norwegian education system and labor market.
All our services are free of charge!
Talking to one of our Career Counsellors you can:

- Get practical tips on how to tailor your application letter and resume
- Practice on job interview situations and presenting yourself
At Karrieresenter Østfold we offer career guidance in English to non-native speakers. If you prefer career counselling in your native language you may bring an interpreter to your appointment or ask us if we can book one for you.

What is career counselling?
In career counselling you can talk to a counsellor and identify your skills, competences and motivation, learn methods for making good career choices, identify potential workplaces, establish a career plan, get practical tips on how to tailor your application letter and resume, and also practice on job interview situations and how to present yourself to an employer.
Do you have any courses in English?
Unfortunately, all our courses are in Norwegian.
Will you provide me with an interpreter?
If you need an interpreter, please let us know your preferred language and we will provide an interpreter for you.
Can you help me find a job?
We do not convey jobs. However, we can help you identify available positions and job opportunities that meet your needs.
Do you convey work?
We do not convey work.
Can you help me write a CV and motivation letter?
Together with a career counsellor you can talk about how to best write your CV and motivation letter. We also offer free courses in Norwegian on how to best present your competence and motivation. However, we do not write your CV or motivation letter for you, and we do not help with grammar and correcting language.
Can you help translate my documentation?
Unfortunately, we do not offer translation services.
Can you help me get my education approved in Norway?
